IMPORTANT: GAS UP AT EITHER CALICO GHOST TOWN EXIT OR BARSTOW

THERE ARE NO SUPPLIES OR GAS AVAILABLE BETWEEN CALICO AND HOLE IN THE WALL

FROM HOLE IN THE WALL TO I40 IS 25 MINUTES, AND THEN 15 MINUTES EAST TO THE NEAREST GAS AND MINIMART!

COME PREPARED! This isn't rock crawling, it's river crossings, sand, history, and survival.

Exit Afton Road off I15 past Barstow, before Baker. Follow signs.

If we camp at the group camp, there are NO FACILITIES, NOTHING THERE.

If we camp at the campground, it's $6.00 for the night, with restrooms, fire pits, and covered tables.

At "Hole in the Wall", there is water, restrooms, and picnic tables, but no cover.  $12.00 per night. 

However, we could camp along the Mojave Road, at "Government Holes" for instance,  where ever we find a previously used fire pit for free, with no facilities.
